European perspectives on social impact assessment: practices and challenges in France, Sweden, Spain, and Portugal
A webinar on recent work conducted by members of the BIRDS consortium
Avise is pleased to host a webinar on February 25th, from 9:30 to 11:00.
The webinar is dedicated to sharing recent work conducted by members of the BIRDS consortium : investigating social impact assessment practices and ecosystems. Each country partner will share the key findings of their respective studies, which examined how impact assessment has evolved historically, how it is deployed (methods, tools, stakeholders) and funded within national ecosystems supporting social innovation.
The webinar will provide a space to compare approaches across countries and reflect on how impact evidence is and can be used to support learning, decision-making and scaling of social innovation solutions.
The discussion will also highlight the main challenges, knowledge gaps and areas for further exploration identified in the reports, with a view to informing future cooperation and strengthening impact-driven social innovation across Europe.

The partners are Avise (France), Portugal Social Innovation (Portugal), Cohesion&Development Agency (Portugal), the Ministry of Family Diversity and Social Services (Spain) and Forum for Social Innovation (Sweden).
